Edit: I may be adding pictures and stories to this post as the days progress.  So check back for an occasional update.

Many of you may be wondering how we are doing out here in Narnia…I mean Denver.  So I thought I would give you all an update as well as share some pictures of our neighborhood.  In case you do not know, we live in the northeast part of Denver, out by the airport.  And I think we can safely say that we got slammed. One of my favorite games growing up was, “Find Daddy.” My dad would hide somewhere. And then my brothers and I would search for him. Occasionally he would call out to us, which would make us even more determined to find him.

Movie Review-The Nativity Story

poster_1024.jpgA couple of weeks ago, a new movie came out called “The Nativity Story.”  A local radio station sponsored an opportunity for pastors to view the movie before its release.  However, due to scheduling conflicts, I was not able to make it.  And due to financial constraints, I will not be able to see it this year.

Since the movie is about the incarnation of Christ, I thought it would be good to point you to a review by Bob Kauflin.  Please take a moment to read what he has to say concerning the movie.  You can read his review here.

I’d like to hear some thoughts on the topic of God-centered worship.

Specifically,

1. Where does God-centered worship begin?
2. What is the difference between a God-centered view of the gospel and a man-centered view of the gospel?
3. What is the role of the Father in worship?
4. What is the role of the Spirit in worship?
5. What is the role of the Son in worship?
6. What is the role of faith in worship?
7. How does God-centered worship flesh itself out in our lives?
8. How does God-centered worship flesh itself out in our churches?
9. How does God-centered worship relate to our mission of making disciples?
