New Bob Kauflin Song

Bob Kauflin of Worship Matters has posted a new free song over on his website.  Quite honestly, it is one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard–both lyrically and musically.  You can check it out here.

I was at New Attitude when he sang this song. It was a spontaneous song during one of the worship services and was in response to the phrase “if you should speak or should remain in silence” from “Great is the Lord” by Starfield. (lyrics at http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/starfield/greatisthelord.html).

I think the part of this song that has continued to impact me the most was “but for now, I’m calling you to trust, I’m calling you to believe that I am a faithful God to you.” So often in life, God works in ways that don’t make sense to us (Habakkuk 1, Genesis 22, Psalm 102) and the reminder that He is faithful and loving when life doesn’t make sense is crucial. Thanks for posting this link. Its a great song and more people need to hear it.

Such powerful words. I am indeed the weak in which His power is perfected.
